At the heart of The Web Empire is our founder and CEO, John Varsamis — a senior Web Developer with more than 30 years of hands-on experience. Holding an MSc and two academic degrees, John has guided the successful launch of thousands of projects worldwide.
John’s journey began in Greece, where he quickly became a trailblazer in the early digital era. In 1992, he launched the country’s second live website, followed by the first national real estate database in 1994, and later established Greece’s very first digital agency in 1995. His vision and passion for innovation positioned him at the forefront of technological progress.
In 1996, his expertise brought him to the United States, where he worked with one of the world’s largest corporations during the formative years of the internet. Since then, John has continued to push forward, adding more than 50 professional certifications to his name and receiving hundreds of awards for his pioneering contributions and leadership in the industry.
